Al Hollander embarked on his distinguished healthcare journey as a Navy hospital corpsman, graduating with distinction as the 3rd ranked student in his class at the Naval Hospital Corps School in Great Lakes, Illinois, in 1992. His dedication to providing medical care led him to serve at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center from 1992 to 1995, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment to his patients. Al's military service concluded with an honorable discharge in 1995, after which he set his sights on becoming a Physician Assistant.
He pursued his educational goals at UMDNJ/Seton Hall University, where he excelled academically, earning his Master's degree as a Physician Assistant with honors in 2002. With a career spanning over two decades, Al has devoted the past 21 years to practicing in Orthopedics and specializes insports medicine and joint replacement. His extensive experience and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact on his patients and his team here at POA.
